I. Eligible Applicants

Researchers from both domestic and international institutions may submit proposals within the scope of the guide. In principle, applicants should be no older than 45 years of age.

II. Major Research Themes Supported

The Open Fund of the laboratory is centered on addressing scientific problems in the field of applied surface and colloid chemistry. Based on chemical science, it aims at cutting-edge research, original innovation, and high-tech applications, with emphasis on applied basic research and interdisciplinary integration with emerging disciplines. The main research themes supported this year are as follows:

1. Surface/Interface Modification and Functional Applications

2. Light-Driven Synthetic Chemistry

3. Dynamic Surface/Interface Chemistry and Smart Materials

4. Electrocatalytic Water Splitting and Oxygen Reduction Reaction

5. Micro-/Nano-interface Image Recognition and Sensing

III. Application and Review Procedures

1. Applicants should carefully read the Management

Measures for the Open Fund of the Key Laboratory of Applied Surface and Colloid Chemistry, Ministry of Education (Attachment 1) and the Application and Management Detailed Rules for the Open Fund of the Key Laboratory of Applied Surface and Colloid Chemistry, Ministry of Education (Attachment 2).

2. Fill out the application form (Attachment 3).

3. The application will be reviewed by the Academic

Committee of the Key Laboratory. Successful applicants must then prepare a research plan (Attachment 4) based on the review comments.

Prospective applicants are requested to send both the WORD and PDF (signed) versions of their application forms to the Key Laboratory email address: klascc@snnu.edu.cn before August 25. Late applications will not be accepted.
